Here's David, engineer Phil Greene & Fletcher of Mercenary Audio
at a Celebration Recording Seminar.

David and blues harp legend James Montgomery.

Drummer George Correia in our main room during a recent session.
Note the open doorway on the left which leads into an acoustic chamber. Straight ahead the double glass doors open to a vocal booth. The double windows on the right are another spacious room. We even have a separate booth for the grand piano if you'd like to isolate live drums and piano.
The custom drum platform is filled with sand and floated on neoprene - you can get great drum sounds in this room. (Note the pair of Neumann U87 microphones over the kit. There are 9 other microphones on the drums in this setup, plus 2 more in the acoustic chamber.)

This is the Digital Audio Workstation in our editing room, a powerful Digidesign Protools system.

This is where we do our digital editing and Compact Disc burning. The room is quite comfortable and it's isolated from the recording rooms, so you can work in peace and quiet. It's also next to the lounge where there's always fresh gourmet coffee in a carafe. (Cathy, the studio manager, is a coffee connoisseur.)
